Suspect Identified In Kentucky Shooting

posted on July 31, 2015

Two men who were shot in a home in Elizabethtown, Ky.—one fatally, one not—have been identified by police. Richard M. Cromwell, the deceased suspect, was said by police to have been wearing black clothing, black gloves and a bandana over his face. He seems to have planned to take money and drugs contained in a safe inside the home.

The other man has been identified as the homeowner, Raymond Brisko. Brisko opened fire on Cromwell and was wounded in the ensuing exchange. Police have said that they believe other suspects were involved in the planned burglary, and they are investigating the case further.
