Bill Seeks To Defend Wisconsin Hunters From Harassment

An extreme animal-rights group known as Wolf Patrol has reportedly been stalking and filming hunters in Wisconsin, a harassment campaign ostensibly in support of the group’s mission to protect wolves and ban hunting with dogs. Now Wisconsin Public Radio reports that State Rep. Adam Jarchow, R-Balsam Lake, has introduced a bill prohibiting individuals from following and recording hunters in the state.

“If you don’t like hunting or you disagree with the tactics … protest. Write letters. Go on TV,” said Rep. Jarchow. “Do whatever you want to do, but do not go out in the woods and intentionally follow hunters around and harass hunters. Because not only is it obnoxious, it’s actually really dangerous.”
