New Poll Shows Significant Majority Of Military Adults Dislike Hillary Clinton

Between Oct. 25 and Nov. 2, Rassmussen Reports asked nearly 1,500 military adults a single question: “Do you have a Very Favorable, Somewhat Favorable, Somewhat Unfavorable or Very Unfavorable opinion of Hillary Clinton?”

Given Clinton’s disdain for our Constitution, you might expect the opinions of those who risk their lives to preserve that Constitution to skew more negatively than those of the general population. You’d be right: Sizeable majorities in all branches, active duty and veterans, view Clinton Very Unfavorably, with those in the Navy expressing the most negative views. Among the 81 percent with unfavorable opinions were 69 percent who hold a Very Unfavorable impression of her. However, while 15 percent view Clinton favorably, only 3 percent rated her Very Favorable.

Clinton fared somewhat better among military Democrats, with a 62 percent favorable rating (15 percent Very Favorable)—but these numbers were more than offset by the overwhelmingly negative opinions expressed by Republicans and Unaffiliated servicemen and women.
