“Guntry Clubs” Are The Future: Now Can We Please Stop Calling Them That?

New upscale shooting establishments in Virginia and Florida are calling attention to the burgeoning popularity of so-called “guntry clubs,” and CBS News is the latest to take notice of the trend. Destroying the stereotype of dingy, “guys-only” range facilities, the new wave of gun clubs cater to the whole family and offer a variety of amenities, from Wi-Fi to cigar lounges to fine food.

Despite the fact that some media outlets seem to be just catching on, the “guntry club” movement isn’t exactly new. But its perpetually expanding footprint suggests that this trend might represent the future of recreational shooting, rather than a flash in the pan.
