MSNBC Mocks Injured Officer

posted on May 18, 2015

Perhaps you saw the dashcam video of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Police Sgt. Kerstan Tatro being dragged from a traffic stop over the weekend. When Tatro reached in to stop the driver from speeding away, she ran over his foot, and he suffered a compound arm fracture in the resulting fall. Gulf Breeze News warned, “This video may be disturbing to some viewers.”

“Disturbing” is an understatement. However, MSNBC found it funny, reposting a rant and tweeting, “Does it count as a police chase if you drag the cop along for the ride?” MSNBC later pulled the video, and said, “It should not have been posted, and we’re sorry.”

Another understatement, not to mention ironic, as MSNBC leads the way in labeling language “inappropriate” and/or “offensive.” However, their own ugly diatribes, failed programming and forced resignations haven’t gone unnoticed by viewers: Their ratings hit an all-time low in Q1 2015.
