Choking On Schumer’s Iron Pipeline

N.Y. Sen. Chuck Schumer claims lax Georgia gun laws are responsible for an “Iron Pipeline” of illegal guns to New York City—and for the murder of NYPD officer Brian Moore. Coordinating with Bloomberg’s Everytown, Schumer and that organization claim the gun was “exported” to NYC, and that it’s impossible to trace such stolen guns because Georgia law doesn’t require reporting gun theft.

First, Senator, the gun that killed Moore was not purchased under lax gun laws; it was stolen (along with 22 other guns). How do you plan to make it more illegal to steal guns? How will punishing gun owners for being crime victims help you trace stolen guns? How does Georgia make it easier to buy stolen guns legally?

Finally, why didn’t you tell us that Little’s Bait & Tackle Pawn did report the burglary to police, as well as the BATFE, as required by federal law?
