2 Ways To Celebrate Moms

posted on May 9, 2015

It’s always interesting to see how different organizations celebrate holidays. Mother’s Day, set for tomorrow, is an example in contrast.

For its part, the 5-million-member-strong National Rifle Association is hosting a sweepstakes, where one lucky mom can win not only flowers, but also a compact Smith & Wesson pistol and eight hours of training. In contrast, the astroturf group Moms Demand Action is encouraging its followers to make special cards for mothers, encouraging them to become supporters of restrictive gun-control legislation.

Most moms we know would much rather win the flowers, gun and training than be pushed by Michael Bloomberg’s phonies into supporting every conceivable restriction on the right of law-abiding Americans to keep and bear arms.
