Armed Homeowner: “I Don’t Play, I’m Too Old For That”

An early morning home invasion in Pasadena, Texas, ended with the armed intruder being shot five times and taken into custody by police. Homeowner Roberto says he always keeps his handgun handy after he was robbed several years ago.

Roberto was doing some work on his home and had two contractors helping. But as they were leaving, one came back in and put a shotgun to Roberto’s face. “I don’t play,” Roberto stated. “I’m too old for that." After shooting the intruder five times, Roberto said that, “He’s lucky I didn’t shoot him again.”

One neighbor stands strongly in support of Roberto. “Cops can’t do it all,” said Bill Schoenbein. “I’ve got several guns to protect us in here and hopefully I can do it.”
