NRA To Roll Out Bloomberg “Campaign” Ads

Voters in early primary states will soon be seeing TV and digital ads for a “Bloomberg 2016” campaign—although the stridently anti-gun billionaire hasn’t announced that he’s running. The initiative is an NRA effort to spread awareness of Bloomberg’s limitless ambition and pernicious influence on the American political scene. 

“If he doesn’t run himself for president, he wants to pick the president,” said NRA spokeswoman Catherine Mortensen. “He will be part of the next presidential race whether he is a candidate or not.” 

In addition to the digital and TV ads, NRA has created a website for the fictitious campaign. “Michael Bloomberg has disdain for freedoms,” continued Mortensen. “This was to show that what he wants to do with guns is the same thing he wants to do with soda. It’s the same MO.”
