Poll Shows Decrease In Support For Gun Control

You’ll hear a lot of unsubstantiated figures from anti-gun activists about how “90 percent” or thereabouts of Americans support their cause. Don’t believe it. A new poll from CNN reveals that 49 percent of voters feel current gun laws are “about right,” while 10 percent think that “they make it too difficult to buy a gun.”

A post on Breitbart points out that the polling demonstrates more support for gun control among older respondents, meaning that younger voters are increasingly seeing past anti-gun myths. The shift is also seen dramatically in the evidence that 56 percent of respondents found it to be “too easy for people to buy guns” in Jan. 2013, compared to only 41 percent today.
