Undercover Video: Clinton Supporter Says Hillary Wants To “Get Guns Away From Everyone”

In a hidden-camera video released Thursday, the host of a California fundraiser for Wisconsin U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis., tells James O’Keefe of Project Veritas that “Hillary wants to shut it down. She wants to shut it down,” apparently referring to firearm availability.

The host then continues, “If we can get guns away from everyone in this country, she’ll close the loopholes, get rid of assault weapons. She’ll get rid of being able to buy, you know, unlimited bullets. She’s going to make all that stop.”

When asked by O’Keefe what Clinton might do about gun control, Feingold said, “Well, there might be an executive order.”

Indeed, last week WikiLeaks released an email in which Clinton press secretary Brian Fallon said Clinton “would support as president ... closing the gun show loophole by executive order and imposing manufacturer liability.” At the fundraiser, Feingold urged that to impose new gun control, “what we all need is to win the Senate ... and we might win the House.”

Policy Brief Says LGBT Community Is In Danger—So They Should Disarm Themselves

On Thursday, an LGBT health group released a “policy brief” that used the Orlando Pulse nightclub massacre to argue that because members of the LGBT community are more at risk of committing suicide and becoming the victims of hate crime, they should support measures that would restrict their human right of self-defense.

The Fenway Institute made recommendations like drastically expanding background checks, implementing “no-fly list” bans, and reinstating the failed “assault weapons” ban. Sean Cahill, Fenway’s director of policy research, said, “The LGBT community has long advocated for legislative and policy change to allow LGBT people to enjoy the same rights and privileges as other citizens.” However, in a bizarre twist, he then claimed the movement “must embrace gun control to improve the basic safety of the LGBT community.”

In other words, LGBT culture is in danger, so give up some of your options to defend yourself. This is not surprising, as the report also recommends making donations to Cure Violence, Everytown for Gun Safety, Moms Demand Action, the Brady Campaign and Americans for Responsible Solutions—all leading gun-control advocacy groups.

There Might Be Hope For The Fresno Bee

Despite being a near-constant cheerleader of all things gun control, The Fresno Bee’s editorial board has apparently seen the light on California’s Proposition 63.

In a Friday editorial titled “Proposition 63 won’t keep Californians any safer from gun violence,” the editorial board pointed out some of the problems with the ballot initiative. “It largely duplicates several of the laws passed by the governor and the Legislature,” the editors wrote. They added: “We have other major concerns that voters should consider before voting on Proposition 63, the biggest of which is that Californians haven’t had time to judge the effectiveness of the new gun control laws on the books.”

The Bee editors also stressed that the ballot initiative is simply a platform for grandstanding Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom to draw more attention to himself. “We also shouldn’t encourage publicity-seeking politicians such as Newsom, who have their eyes on higher elected office, from using the initiative process for personal gain,” the editorial stated.

Nevada AG Opposes Question 1

As election day draws nearer, the battle for votes is intensifying over Nevada Question 1—the punitive Bloomberg-funded background check initiative that would do nothing to reduce violent crime.

Now the state attorney general is speaking out strongly against the proposal, adding his voice to the many law-enforcement officers and government officials who have already made their opinion known.

“Question 1 sounds good because we all support background checks, but Question 1 is a sloppy legal disaster,” Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt said in the latest Nevadans for Freedom ad. “It’s poorly written and could put honest Nevadans in jail.”

Dash Points Out Kardashian’s Hatred Of Guns … Until She Needed One

Actress Stacey Dash has called out Kim Kardashian on her double-standard lifestyle. Kardashian, who regularly tweets about gun control, has increased her security—including armed guards—after her armed robbery in a Paris hotel.

On Patheos.com, Dash commented: “Kim Kardashian regularly uses her First Amendment right to speak out against others’ Second Amendment rights. But apparently, she’s shifting her opinion just a bit due to recent events.”

Dash added: “Yeah, she hated guns right up until she needed one to protect herself while being alone and robbed at gunpoint in Paris. And since that incident, where the perpetrators got away with MILLIONS in her personal jewelry, Kim K. has decided to beef up her security team.

“And who could blame her? It’s just that it’s so hypocritical coming from her. She should be celebrating the amendment that gives her security guards the means to protect her and her family. Instead, she follows the liberal Hollywood model and decries gun ownership.”

Texas Man Turns The Tables On Armed Robber

A robbery suspect was shot multiple times by his intended victim Tuesday night.

According to police, a Beaumont, Texas, man called 911 around 9:42 p.m. reporting that he was walking through a parking lot to his car when a man confronted him, and that he defended himself by firing multiple rounds at the suspect. When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old man on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso.

The wounded suspect was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Police say the vehicle the suspect arrived in just before committing the robbery, a silver Dodge truck, was discovered to be stolen from Westlake, La. Both guns were seized as evidence, and no charges have been filed.
