Indiana Woman Fights Off Attacker In Home

An Indiana woman who came face to face with a masked man who had broken into her home was able to use a firearm to stop the invasion.

According to local media reports, early Friday morning the Bargersville, Ind., woman was letting her dog out when a man wearing a ski masked ran into her home and attacked her. She was able to escape her attacker and run upstairs, but he followed closely behind.

She ran into the bedroom and grabbed her husband's gun. When the attacker entered the bedroom behind her, she fired two shots at him, causing him to run away. The woman was not seriously injured but was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.
