An Indiana woman who came face to face with a masked man who had broken into her home was able to use a firearm to stop the invasion.
According to local media reports, early Friday morning the Bargersville, Ind., woman was letting her dog out when a man wearing a ski masked ran into her home and attacked her. She was able to escape her attacker and run upstairs, but he followed closely behind.
She ran into the bedroom and grabbed her husband's gun. When the attacker entered the bedroom behind her, she fired two shots at him, causing him to run away. The woman was not seriously injured but was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.
Time Running Short For Pennsylvania Preemption Legislation
Pennsylvania gun owners listen up: This is a critical week for your freedom.
This week is the final week of the 2016 legislative session for the Pennsylvania General Assembly. And with time winding down, it’s time for the legislature to pass Senate Bill 1330—important firearms preemption legislation.
While the Senate successfully passed SB 1330 last week, the House of Representatives failed to take action on it. With only three days of session left, it is critical that you continue to contact your state legislators in support of SB 1330.
Gun owners across the Keystone State have waited long enough for this much-needed reform as they continue to be unduly burdened by local ordinances which violate the current state firearms preemption law.

The homeowner exchanged gunshots with the intruders, sending them fleeing and possibly saving his life. He was shot in the leg, and was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
