Trump Adviser: NRA Members Won’t Let Arizona “Flip” To Clinton

posted on November 5, 2016

On CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” early Friday morning, Jack Kingston, senior adviser for the Trump Campaign, told the panel that he isn’t worried—as some seem to be—that Arizona voters might flip and vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton for president.

Why? Largely because of the strong NRA presence there, and the fact that NRA members are well known to get out the pro-gun vote when the chips are down.

“I was talking to (former) Congressman John Shadegg yesterday, and he said, ‘Let me put it this way for Arizona, every third vehicle is a pick-up truck with an NRA bumper sticker on it,’” Kingston said. “We hear all the time from outsiders that Arizona is going to flip. But it’s not going to happen.”

Of course, the same can be said for the strong NRA presence in many, many states across the country. Let’s all do our part to make sure our state doesn’t fall into the Hillary category when the votes are counted next week.
