Georgia Man Stops Home Invasion

When three men burst into a Clarkston, Ga., home last month in a violent home invasion, only two of the uninvited intruders came out alive.

According to local media, Benjamin Jeffrey Florence, 26, and Tyler Alexander Brown, 21, conspired with 32-year-old Curtis Bernard Turner to break into the home on Parkline Drive.

During the assault, Turner was shot dead by the occupant of the residence.

Florence and Brown were arrested and remain in custody at the DeKalb County Jail. Among other charges, both are also being charged with felony murder in Turner’s death, since it occurred during the commission of a crime they were involved in.
