Band Leader Onstage During Paris Terror Attacks Touts 2A

American rock band Eagles of Death Metal is back on its European tour after surviving the deadly November terror attacks in Paris. And at least one member is speaking out for Americans’ right to keep and bear arms.

In an interview published over the weekend, lead singer and National Rifle Association member Jesse Hughes told AFP his habits have changed since the attack.

“I don’t go anywhere in America without a gun anymore,” Hughes said. “That sucks. And I’m not paranoid. I’m not a cowboy … but I wanna be prepared.”

Hughes and the rest of the band will be returning to Paris Feb. 16 for their first show there since the terrorist massacre.
