A Columbus, Ohio, man used his firearm to protect himself from a home invader early Sunday morning.
According to local media reports, 26-year-old Tory L. Jones kicked in the back door of the home, entered and attacked resident Darryl Francis. Francis then shot the man in self-defense.
The home invader was pronounced dead at the scene, and the resident was not injured.
