Indiana Woman Stops Armed Robbery

An Indiana woman used her handgun to scare off an armed robber last week.

According to local media reports, the Kokomo, Ind., woman was walking to her house when a man, who was waiting by her entry door, pulled a gun on her. The man threatened her and demanded she give him her money.

When the woman pulled her own gun, the suspect ran away. Police later arrested the armed robbery suspect, and he has been charged with burglary while armed with a deadly weapon, attempted robbery, two counts of pointing a firearm, possession of stolen property, and two counts of cruelty to animals.
