Moms Demand Action Again Sees Very Little Action

posted on May 24, 2016

While 80,452 freedom-loving Americans were packing the aisles of the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky., Moms Demand gun-control supporters were packing barely a couple of rows at the group’s protest “rally.” Not even free tickets and coverage from a local newspaper could persuade more than a couple dozen people to show up.

If this sounds like the same story, second verse … it is. Moms Demand attempted to stage a rally during last year’s NRA Annual Meetings in Nashville. Despite the fact that only some 150 people showed up, the anti-gun zealots took artfully arranged photographs to make it appear as if a large throng of supporters were in attendance. Aerial photos of the gathering later exposed the group’s deception.

There were, however, plenty of real moms in attendance at this year’s Louisville show. Many proudly displayed their “I’m an NRA Mom” button and proclaimed their support of the Second Amendment.
