NRA Annual Meetings Attendance A Near Record

posted on May 24, 2016

Official numbers are in, and a grand total of 80,452 National Rifle Association members attended the 145th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits last weekend in Louisville, Ky.—the second largest gathering in the Association’s history.

In step with the high overall attendance number, an estimated 10,000-plus members attended Friday’s NRA-ILA Leadership Forum to hear Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump and several others speak. And 12,000-plus tickets were sold for the affiliated Saturday night Toby Keith concert.

The only other NRA Annual Meeting to exceed the Louisville event in participation was the 2013 event in Houston, Texas, which drew an attendance of 86,228.
