Even Caught Red-Handed, Katie Couric Stands By Her Deceptive, Defamatory “Under The Gun”

posted on May 27, 2016

Even after everyone from the Washington Post to CNN to The New York Times lambasted Katie Couric for the dishonest, deliberately misleading “edits” used to make gun owners appear clueless and heartless in her bogus hit piece “Under the Gun,” Couric still defended the phony production, announcing, “I am very proud of the film.”

In case you missed it, Couric’s film completely misrepresented an interview with gun owners where she asked them a question that no one (apparently) could answer—as they silently stared at their shoes for almost 10 seconds. The problem is, it didn’t happen. The interviewees actually answered Couric’s question almost immediately—and they proved it by releasing an audiotape they’d recorded of the interview.

Is it any wonder no one trusts the media anymore, when Katie Couric—once the highest-paid “journalist” on the planet—spouts lies like these, then defends them even after she’s caught red-handed?
