Amy Schumer’s Twitter Mob Threatens To Shoot Fan

It would seem that Amy Schumer is conflicted about when and how to apply her new gun-control message. Schumer joined her second cousin, Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., in campaigning for stricter gun laws after two people were shot at a Lafayette, La., theater during a showing of her film “Trainwreck.” However, it seems those mandates for more control don’t include her four million Twitter followers, who are threatening the life of one of her fans.

TMZ is reporting that Leslie Brewer has been terrorized since approaching Schumer last weekend for a photo opportunity. Schumer later posted Brewer’s picture, accusing him of invading her space and taking photos without permission. He now says her fans have threatened to “shoot him in the face,” “jump him for you,” and have even warned they would “burn” his family. Brewer is asking the gun-ban comedian to calm her followers, but there seems to be no reaction from Schumer to date.
