NRA’s Cox To Address Republican National Convention

Chris W. Cox, executive director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, is among the star-studded group of speakers set to address the crowd at this week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.

Cox, also NRA’s chief lobbyist, will speak Tuesday evening at the convention, the theme of which is “Make America Great Again.”

“On behalf of the 5 million men and women of the National Rifle Association, it's an honor to be asked to speak at the Republican Convention,” Cox said. “Donald Trump strongly believes in our fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms. Hillary Clinton does not—she said the Supreme Court was wrong when it said law-abiding Americans have the right to keep a firearm in our homes for self-protection. For voters who believe in their constitutional freedoms, the choice in this presidential election is clear—that choice is Donald Trump."
