Good Guy With A Gun Stops Terrorist Knife Attack

The armed citizen who shot and stopped a knife-wielding terrorist hacking up shoppers in a St. Cloud, Minn., mall on Sunday was an NRA-certified firearms instructor, self-defense trainer and competitive shooter—but you’re not likely to hear that from the so-called “mainstream” media.

Jason Falconer, who is a part-time police officer who was off duty at the time, is the president and owner of Tactical Advantage LLC, a shooting range and tactical training facility with a strong focus on arming concealed carriers. He’s also an avid competitive shooter who shoots both USPSA and 3-gun competitions.

While the national media could easily learn these same facts about Falconer, they would much rather call him an “off-duty police officer” than admit that a good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a knife—in this case, a terrorist. Still, you can’t escape the facts as stated by St. Cloud Mayor David Kleis: “Clearly he is a hero. Officer Falconer was there at the right time and the right place.”
