NRATV: Finally, Fair Coverage Of An AR-15

This morning, NRATV’s Grant Stinchfield patted the so-called “mainstream” media on the back for some recent, and markedly fair, coverage of an AR-15.

An NBC affiliate in Dallas covered the story of a Weatherford, Texas, man who kept a potential car thief at bay with his AR-15 until police arrived.

Stinchfield had the opportunity to chat with the man, musician Kwin Smith, yesterday. Smith, who said he has law enforcement training and frequently practices shooting at the range, also told Stinchfield that his neighborhood has recently been plagued by car burglaries and break-ins.

“In Texas, where most people know the value of guns and an armed neighbor, the people in his small community couldn’t have been happier with Kwin’s swift action,” Stinchfield said. He further complimented NBC 5 Dallas for not misrepresenting the story.

“Stinchfield” airs live on NRATV weekdays at the top of the hour from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET.
