Two Pro-Gun Measures Advance In Wyoming

posted on February 3, 2017

The Wyoming House of Representatives on Wednesday approved two important pro-gun measures—House Bill 136 and House Bill 137.

HB 136 would amend the existing statute to allow a person lawfully carrying with a Wyoming state permit to carry a concealed weapon on any public college or university campus, or within any public college or university facility, without having to have the written consent of the security service of the public college or university.

HB 137 would allow an individual with a valid concealed-carry permit to lawfully carry a concealed weapon in any meeting of a government entity, including the state Legislature.
