Thousands Expected to Converge at Our Biggest-Ever Celebration of Freedom

Gun owners have something to celebrate this year, with a political climate that is more supportive of our Second Amendment-protected right to keep and bear arms. And if you take into consideration the fact that the 2017 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits will be the NRA’s biggest and best ever, you have to ask yourself: What better way is there to celebrate our 2016 victories than to spend a weekend with other freedom-loving NRA members?
This year’s gathering (sponsored by Midwayusa) is set for April 27-30 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Thousands of NRA members are expected to come to see the latest in guns and gear from every major company in the industry. There also will be dinners, raffles, an air gun range, live music and events every evening.
One of the early events will be the NRA Foundation Banquet (sponsored by Henry Repeating Arms, Century Arms and Kimber), a family-friendly event on April 27 that provides the chance to win firearms, unique merchandise and hunting trips. That will be followed the next day by the Women’s Leadership Forum, another great fundraising opportunity.

The NRA Foundation will also feature its Wall of Guns (sponsored by Henry, Century Arms, Kimber and Kel-Tec), where people can buy tickets for a chance to win one of the more than 60 firearms from the display, throughout the event.
Want to soak in some country music? The NRA Country Jam is scheduled for April 28. NRA Presents is the main concert, and this year it will bring together Hank Williams Jr. and Lee Brice on the evening of April 29. Tickets are available now at nraam.org. What better way is there to celebrate our 2016 victories than to spend a weekend with other freedom-loving NRA members?
Amid all the fun—and with a record 15 acres of guns and gear from 800 exhibitors, it will be fun—the NRA still finds time for business. The Annual Meeting of Members, April 29, is where you’ll hear about the state of your NRA and what’s ahead in the coming year.
And for those who like to keep their finger on the pulse of the latest political happenings, the ILA Leadership Forum (sponsored by Townhall Media/Bearing Arms) presents some of the top influencers of today’s firearm issues. In 2016, members who attended this session got the biggest surprise of the weekend when Chris W. Cox, ILA’s executive director, announced that the NRA was endorsing Donald Trump for president.
