In her opening statement at the onset of Judge Neil Gorsuch’s senate confirmation hearings, U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., repeated tired liberal labels that have been rejected by both polls and elections.
“It is the Supreme Court that will have final word … [on] whether the NRA, and other extreme organizations, will be able to block common-sense gun regulations, including those that keep military-style assault weapons off our streets.”
Feinstein’s “common-sense” gun regulations are being soundly rejected, both at the federal level and state levels, as firearm freedoms such as open carry, concealed carry, campus carry and reciprocity spread.
“Military-style assault weapons” are strictly regulated, fully automatic firearms, not the semi-automatic rifles that Americans have made the most popular rifle in America.
Feinstein may repeat her talking points at every opportunity, but Americans are fact-checking her at the ballot box and rejecting those ideas.
