NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch joined NRATV’s Stinchfield Thursday to talk about why Judge Neil Gorsuch's confirmation to the Supreme Court is crucial for preserving the rights of gun owners.
“The sooner that we get Gorsuch on the bench, the sooner that we replace an originalist with an originalist—someone who believes in our rights as the founders identified them in our founding documents—then the easier it’s going to be to make sure that our rights are defended,” Loesch said.
“This is a key component, this a tool in making sure that our rights are defended and we, as law abiding Americans, have those rights spoken up for in the legal manner adhering to the Constitution," she said. "And that’s exactly what this Gorsuch confirmation is going to do.”
Loesch noted that three, possibly four, Second Amendment rights cases are slated to appear in the high court. Without the confirmation of Gorsuch, the Court will either be deadlocked or elect to pass on hearing these cases all together.
“I can’t stress how unbelievably important it is to make sure Neil Gorsuch is confirmed, because our Second Amendment rights depend on this."
