Marking a historic day for Second Amendment freedom, Wayne LaPierre & Chris W. Cox welcome President Donald Trump to NRA Annual Meetings 2017, the first president to make the address since Reagan in 1983.
"The media won't admit it, but President Trump has had a hell of a first 100 days," Cox said to the crowd of thousands in Atlanta. "For starters, he saved the Second Amendment and individual freedom by putting Neil Gorsuch on the U.S. Supreme Court. He restored the rule of law when he put Jeff Sessions in as Attorney General. Our enemies now fear us again because he put General 'Mad Dog' Mattis in charge of our military."
Cox went on to deliver a special message to mainstream media outlets, including The New York Times, CNN and MSNBC: "You thought you'd be covering President Hillary Clinton this year. Well, sorry about that. You're not. So get over it and join the men and women of the National Rifle Association in welcoming the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump."
