We’re now less than a month away from the NRA Carry Guard Expo, set for Aug. 25-27 in Milwaukee. You should already be planning to go based on what has been announced previously about the event—seriously, check out the website!—but in case a couple of updates are enough to tip you over the edge, we’ve got ‘em for you.
MMA legend Royce Gracie’s presence at the Expo was scheduled some time ago, and we hope that you’ll jump on the opportunity to learn unarmed combat techniques from the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu master. But if you were worried about proving to your friends that you met Royce Gracie in person, then worry no longer. A newly announced autograph session will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. You won’t need to buy anything extra to participate, as the session is open to all ticket-holding attendees.
Getting around a larger venue can be tricky for those with limited mobility. This helpful page details the accessibility features at the Wisconsin Center so that you can plan your weekend. While on-site scooter rentals will not be available, the Expo website has added a contact list for local providers so you can book a scooter beforehand. With proper planning, accessibility issues shouldn’t keep any attendees from enjoying the proceedings.
Are you a business owner who would like to attract the attention of people interested in personal protection? Check out the NRA Carry Guard Expo’s list of available sponsorship and advertising opportunities. There’s also a page of volunteer opportunities for those who are just looking to help out and get to know some other friends of the Second Amendment.
Finally, we encourage you to keep an eye on the list of seminars and workshops for exciting new offerings. Tickets for the NRA Carry Guard Expo are available here. The event is open to everyone and will feature discounted tickets for NRA members, plus NRA Life members and Carry Guard members get in FREE.
