It’s just about time! The inaugural NRA Carry Guard Expo starts this Friday at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee. If you’ve already purchased tickets, we imagine you’re feeling the same excitement we are. There will be something for everyone at the Expo, from music to fashion to celebrity encounters, but ultimately the action in Milwaukee this weekend will serve to connect attendees with the absolute best in personal protection know-how and gear.
Being laser-focused on self-defense and concealed-carry issues means that this will be far from another gun show, and we think it will be a really special occasion for everyone involved. Studies show that personal protection is the leading motivation for new gun owners, so it’s probably past time that this area of concern gets its own nationwide event.
There will be something for everyone at the Expo ...Most of us enjoy getting to spend a few hours on the weekend learning something new when there’s a new class offered at the range. If you walk out of an experience like that feeling newly empowered, just try to fathom that there are 145 seminars and workshops available at the NRA Carry Guard Expo. We dare you to spend some time browsing the education offerings without getting overwhelmed. If you leave Milwaukee without revolutionizing your home defense plan or your carry routine, it will be nobody’s fault but yours!
Now what about those of you who won’t be attending the NRA Carry Guard Expo this year but want to see what all the fuss was about? Tune in to NRATV this weekend for an insider look at what’s happening on the exhibit floor, as well as interviews with expert trainers, exhibitors, attendees and probably a few familiar faces. It will be the closest thing you can find to being there in person.
For those of you who waited until the very last minute, tickets for the NRA Carry Guard Expo are still available here. The event is open to everyone and will feature discounts for NRA members; NRA Life members and Carry Guard members get in FREE.
Hope to see you in Milwaukee—and if not, then next year!
