Colt Python Book Available

Calling all Colt collectors, dealers and investors. If you want a definitive history of the Python, check out Colt’s Python, King of the Seven Serpents, by Gurney Brown. This handsome hardback features more than 275 high-resolution images that showcase almost every iteration of the classic revolver line.

It includes just about everything you need to know about Colt’s .357 Mag. that was part of the premium revolver market. The Python was introduced in 1955 and production continued until 1999, though some could be made by special order after that.

The book offers what is called the most complete Python serial number information, and each gun is shown with its Colt Archives letter that shows when and where that gun was shipped and details about its original configuration.
