Congress will be guided either by Nancy Pelosi’s vision, or by ours. That was one of the key points that Chris Cox, executive director of the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action drove home when he addressed NRA members at the organization’s annual gathering in Dallas.
Cox told members that their activism is the thing that serves to remind our politicians that they don’t rule us, they work for us.
As the country heads into the mid-term elections, Cox said it’s more important than ever for NRA members to stand strong.
His 20-minute speech at the Annual Meeting of Members, one part of the NRA's Annual Meetings & Exhibits, was filled with examples of the NRA’s wins over the years, wins that have painted a target on the back of the NRA as the anti-gunners take every opportunity to vilify people simply for standing up for their constitutional rights.
If you missed the Annual Meetings & Exhibits, you can still catch Cox’s speech.
