If you’re having a hard time finding the right holster, a small European company will probably be able to help. Craft Holsters has been around since 2009, and its business is built on a partnership with European manufacturers. Because it does some of its own design work, it can even create a holster for a classic gun or one that is out of production, provided they can get their hands on a blue gun.

One part of their mission is to provide a safe way to carry, with as little print as possible. Whether you want an inside-the-waistband (IWB), a cross-draw, a shoulder holster or any other style, offers an array of more than 200 designs. And with its 30-day tryout, if the style you choose doesn’t suit you, you’re welcome to try another.

It was tough, for example, to find an IWB holster for a full-size SIG Sauer P320 the first couple of years that the striker-fired gun was sold. It's less of a problem now, with various companies offering products, but Craft has a wide selection from the classic one with loops to hook around your belt to ones with steel clips to tuckable ones made out of various materials.

For new gun owners, Craft even has an online guide for picking the IWB holster that best fits your needs. The write-up discusses the different carry positions and has pictures of holster styles that work well for each position, whether you prefer to carry by your appendix or on your hip or anywhere else.

If you prefer off-body carry, Craft Holsters offers a variety of packs and bags, too.

No matter your final choice, you’ll end up with a holster that offers a secure fit for your gun and comfort when you’re wearing it.
