Jacob Bryant is NRA Country

posted on May 30, 2019

NRA Country is a lifestyle brand, all about enjoying the outdoors, supporting our troops and being proud to be an American. Country artist Jacob Bryant fits perfectly with NRA Country. “I’m just a good ol’ boy that grew up loving and supporting the same values so I feel like people see who I am and what I’m about in my music,” Bryant said. At 28, he has lived through more than most men twice his age. With songs telling of those tales that shaped him, Bryant delivers a show that combines the storytelling of country music with the passion of rock. His videos on YouTube have over 20 million views—proving that his music is connecting with fans. NRA Country asked Bryant to perform twice during the 148th Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Indy, and our own Vanessa Shahidi grabbed a moment of Bryant’s time to ask him a few questions.

VS: How does your love for the great outdoors impact your music?
JB: Where I grew up, all there was to do was hunt, fish, play music on the front porch on the weekends, and just enjoy family and what the good Lord gave us. So it’s easy to write about those memories.

What is your personal favorite firearm?
My first hunting rifle which is just an ol’ gold trigger Marlin .30-30. That one is one I’ll never get rid of and hand down to my kids.

What are you currently working on?
JB: We are super excited to finally release my new album “Practice What I Preach” that we worked on for almost two years. It came out earlier this year, and we ended up debuting at No. 1 on the iTunes Country Charts. It has been such a huge blessing to get this project out to the fans, and watch the growth and response!
