The sheriff’s office in Madison County, Tenn., now has a new Eddie Eagle mascot costume, thanks to a $2,800 donation from the Friends of NRA Forked Deer Chapter.
Thanks to a grant from The NRA Foundation, the Walterboro, S.C., police department was recently able to purchase 10 new patrol rifles.
The Burnet, Texas, Police Department has received its first-ever grant from The NRA Foundation, to the tune of $5,000. Those monies have gone to the purchase of three scoped Colt Patrol rifles for Burnet officers.
The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Iron Horse Shooting Team will be headed to the Arkansas State Championship Shoot and National Championship Shoot next spring, courtesy of the National Rifle Association. TXK Today reports that The NRA Foundation presented the team with a grant in the amount of $3,629 this week.
