Maryland’s Republican Gov. Larry Hogan on Thursday signed pro-gun legislation into law in a state where victories for gun rights are sometimes few and far between.
On Wednesday, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley was joined by state lawmakers from South Carolina and Georgia as she ceremonially re-signed H. 3799, legislation that adds Georgia to the list of states where Right-to-Carry permits are recognized.
As the current session nears its end, Kansans have one more chance to help ensure that anti-gun House Bill 2278 does not become law. This measure would prohibit the carry of self-defense firearms in state- or municipal-owned adult care homes and healthcare facilities, including the Kansas University Hospital, and in community health centers.
