The midterm election will impact our Second Amendment rights. Americans who love their freedom need to go out and vote.

The midterm election in November offers the opportunity for pro-gun voters to take back the U.S. House of Representatives and restore the U.S. Constitution's checks and balances.

We are supposed to believe that criminals will obey the "gun-free zone" signs.

Election day is less than a month away, with early voting quickly approaching, and in Oregon, freedom is on the ballot in the form of a measure that, if passed, could enact some of the most-restrictive gun-control laws in the nation.

Whether through willful ignorance or outright dishonesty, anti-Second Amendment politicians get the facts wrong all the time. Some lies, however, are so obviously false they are just embarrassing.

Key races for senators, governors and many other elected positions around the country require gun owners' attention and votes.

It’s not unusual for anti-Second Amendment politicians to lambaste and lie about this nation’s oldest-civil rights organization and gun owners.

Whether a majority of pro-freedom candidates win in this midterm election will depend on how the individual races highlighted here turn out. That being said, every local, state and congressional race matters.

As we near a midterm election on November 8, a lot of anti-Second Amendment politicians have been blaming guns in general, or our Second Amendment rights in particular, for recent rises in violent-crime rates.
