The passage of campus carry in Texas has led to plenty of hysteria at places like the University of Texas at Austin. But up in Denton, police for the University of North Texas (UNT) don’t think it has changed campus life.
As campus carry successfully comes to more states, the arguments against it made by anti-gun professors grow weaker and weaker.
It’s back to the books for three professors at the University of Texas in Austin after a federal judge tossed out their lawsuit seeking to overturn campus carry. District Judge Lee Yeakel opined that Mia Carter, Lynn Glass and Lisa Moore presented “no concrete evidence to substantiate their fears” and dismissed the case.
In an all-too-rare move by media nowadays, the Dallas Morning News published an article in which editor Mike Wilson admitted that the paper misled the public by uncritically repeating a false statistic about guns in America.
