“Tag: gun free zones”

The truth can be a moving target as our understanding evolves with new data, but we must try to hit the target every time and be honest about our mistakes. This, however, isn't what the gun-control crowd tries to do.

American federalism allows states to be incubators of new ideas and policies. This can be helpful. But this isn't supposed to happen with a natural right that's specifically protected within the U.S. Bill of Rights.

We are supposed to believe that criminals will obey the "gun-free zone" signs.

Despite the best efforts of those in the gun-control crowd to paint America's gun culture as "fringe" and "extreme," this couldn't be further from reality.

The repeated insistence from some politicians that "gun-free zones" will stop criminals is possibly the stupidest part of the gun-control orthodoxy.

With enough well-informed, determined and politically activated gun owners, we can make those nonsensical gun-free zone signs a thing of the past.
