Who would have believed a year and a half ago what our lives would be like today? Not me! But the COVID-19 pandemic, attacks by governmental entities and officials, and personal and family illnesses have not stopped the NRA.

As you and I survey the current landscape surrounding our Second Amendment freedom in this country, it’s impossible not to be optimistic and proud of what we’ve all accomplished together as NRA members.

From the time I joined the NRA, I always felt we were the underdog, even though a majority of America was on our side.

They hate us. The funny thing is, we don’t hate them. Consider the following dynamics.

You know it as well as I do—politicians let you down. Principles never do. And it’s by fighting on principle that the National Rifle Association is the oldest and most successful civil rights organization in the history of mankind.

The last two months of the year represent a traditional time for all Americans to reflect on the blessings in their lives, even amid a pandemic. During this time, many of us give thanks for all we have received.

The year 2020 will be remembered as one of many ups and downs, both for gun owners and for the country at large.
