After a very close election led to a divided Congress, we have to ask what is now in store for our Second Amendment freedom and we must prepare for future struggles to retain and, in come places, to win back our rights.

The midterm election in November offers the opportunity for pro-gun voters to take back the U.S. House of Representatives and restore the U.S. Constitution's checks and balances.

In this midterm election, we are facing one of two scenarios: A venomous anti-gun president in the White House with gun-hating majorities in Congress; or, that same president with pro-Second Amendment majorities in Congress keeping him in check.

Freedom is a gift. America’s Freedom was purchased with the blood of patriots who fought and died so we could be free.

President Biden and his administration are set on an anti-gun, pro-criminal course that is taking a tragic toll across America; meanwhile, Biden has continued to blame the Second Amendment instead of criminals.

Tragically, this law professor’s and constitutional lawyer’s work has shown them that the basic tents of our freedom are not being taught in our schools. They off this list of 10 things every American should know as a refresher course.

These days—at least most of the time—$5 won’t buy you much. Maybe a pound of ground beef. Or a gallon of milk. Or 10 rounds of 9 mm.

We take pause on this solemn day to remember many we’ve lost.

As a life member of the NRA, I put freedom first. Why? As it is for all of us, the answer is both simple and complex.
