After a very close election led to a divided Congress, we have to ask what is now in store for our Second Amendment freedom and we must prepare for future struggles to retain and, in come places, to win back our rights.
To understand the importance of this midterm election, all we have to do is listen to what the members of Congress who want to take away our freedom are saying.
The U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling Bruen comes down to this: The rights so clearly stated in the Second Amendment of the U.S. Bill of Rights don’t inexplicably vanish when a citizen leaves their home.
It is an open question whether, as everyone sees Ukrainian citizens picking up rifles to defend their lives and liberty from Russian troops, more Europeans will come to the conclusion that this is a right every law-abiding person needs.
Crime is personal. Victims are real. Law-abiding Americans deserve the right to defend themselves just as police officers deserve our respect for doing a tough job.
