In another anti-gun move that circumvents the legislative process, Virginia Democrat Attorney General Mark R. Herring unilaterally decreed Tuesday that Virginia will no longer honor concealed-carry reciprocity agreements made with 25 other states, effective Feb. 1, 2016.
In practical terms, that means Virginia residents with concealed handgun permits will now be allowed to carry in only six other states, instead of 31. And Right-to-Carry licensees from 25 other states—from Alaska to Florida and Pennsylvania to Wyoming, including three states that border Virginia—will no longer be allowed to exercise that freedom in Virginia.
