Arby’s Venison Sandwiches Sell Out In Minutes

posted on November 16, 2016

Fast-food giant Arby’s might make the statement, “We have the meats!” But when it comes to the chain’s venison sandwich, that’s a bit of an overstatement.

Arby’s venison sandwich, which is being introduced in 17 test markets across the country, has been such a smashing success that few have gotten to enjoy it. Customers gobbled up the available sandwiches in 15 minutes at sites in Nashville, while the 120 sandwiches available at Michigan locations sold out in 30 minutes. And it took only 90 minutes for all the sandwiches to sell out in Atlanta.

“We were very confident that hunters and even non-hunters would love this sandwich,” Arby’s spokesman Luke DeRouen told Nation’s Restaurant News. “But it’s safe to say that the response has exceeded our lofty expectations.”

It’s gratifying to see the product selling spectacularly, given Arby’s recent support of hunting in the company’s “It’s Meat Season” promotion.
