Armed St. Louis Man Saves Neighbor

posted on February 20, 2017

A St. Louis man who was being robbed at gunpoint is safe today, thanks to a quick-thinking neighbor who had a gun and knew how to use it.

According to local media reports, police say 24-year-old Tre’Von Johnson pulled a handgun in front of a man’s home and tried to rob him. A neighbor, who saw what was happening, pulled out his own handgun and shot Johnson multiple times.

Johnson fled the scene in his car, and was later found by police at a hospital where he was being treated for gunshot wounds. He is in critical but stable condition, and is being charged with first-degree robbery.
