If you’re like me, you prefer to spend your hard-earned dollars with businesses that share a love of the Second Amendment. Fortunately, the NRA has a program that makes it easy to find companies worthy of our members’ patronage. Since 1992, the NRA Business Alliance Program has provided more than 5,000 member businesses with a marketplace to sell goods and services to fellow NRA members. For enrollees, the benefits are numerous, including NRA member magazines, special promotions and discounts on a wide range of business services.

For many businesses, perhaps the most valuable aspect of joining the NRA Business Alliance is the online directory. Searchable by state and category, the directory contains business descriptions and contact information. With around five million NRA members, that’s a large group of potential customers that could be perusing your products and services. Whether online, in NRA magazines or in mailings—we’ll let NRA members know about your business.

For brick-and-mortar stores, the NRA Business Alliance certificate of affiliation provides instant recognizability. Plus, member businesses gain the exclusive use of the NRA Business Alliance logo for their websites, so that online customers will instantly know they are dealing with a company that shares in their values. This digital logo can also be used for ads, brochures and company letterhead.

Other major benefits of enrolling in the NRA Business Alliance include business insurance options from Lockton and Clearent credit-card processing discounts, along with access to FFL Bizhub for entry, licensing and eBound book services. Additional benefits are available from our affinity relationships, such as AXIS firearms-specific point-of-sale software, Gearfire e-commerce services and discounted TransGuardian shipping services. Business Alliance members can also take advantage of discounted advertising rates in NRA’s publications.

But the benefits don’t stop there. NRA Business Alliance members also receive a discount on the registration fee for the NRA Range Development and Operations Conference. Highly regarded as one of the premier events of its kind in the world, this conference trains range owners and operators to recognize potential problems associated with engineering, administrative controls, environmental issues and safety.

Furthermore, NRA Business Alliance members are empowered to offer memberships to their employees at a discounted rate. A regular rate Annual NRA membership is currently $45 a year, but is discounted to $30 a year for Alliance members. In addition to a monthly magazine, members are also joining the front lines in defense of our Second Amendment freedoms.

As we close 2020 and begin a new year, I hope you had a blessed holiday season, and wish you and your loved ones much health and happiness in 2021.
