72-Year-Old Man Turns Tables On Home Invader With Gun

posted on September 25, 2015

Two women allegedly accosted a Golden Beach, Ore., senior citizen in his home, tying him up and stealing his money. The older of the two suspects then left the area in the victim’s vehicle while her accomplice stayed behind to guard him. While the first suspect was gone, the victim managed to free himself and retrieve his firearm.

When he confronted the home invader with his gun, she immediately fled the scene. Police are searching the area for her, while the other suspect was apprehended at a nearby store and arrested. The armed citizen is fortunate to have had a gun available to him, as there is no way of knowing what fate the suspects had in mind for him.
