80-Year-Old With Gun Fights Off Home Invaders

posted on April 21, 2016

An Ohio senior citizen, who had a gun and wasn’t afraid to use it to protect himself, fought off three home invaders on Tuesday.

According to Fairmont police, a woman came to the man’s door and asked to use the telephone for an emergency. When he opened the door, two men with a gun burst into the home and demanded items from the victim.

The senior citizen shot both men as they tried to rob him, killing one and wounding the other. Police later said the robbers’ weapon was a realistically looking pellet or BB gun. The woman was later apprehended by police.
